Maori Language Week - Ta Moko

Looked at pictures ngā To Moko.

Looked at the meaning in the Ta Moko patterns.

Traditionally Ta Moko was made with a chisel.

Ta Moko starts out small and grows. The females usually only have their chin done.

Painting a mask with skin colour, or close to it.

Designed our Ta Moko

Drew on our Ta Moko onto our mask with vivid.

We are learning how to draw a ta moko 

I found it easy because we can copy from the board 

Next time I would like to draw more ta mokos 

Maths stategy - Ignoring Zero

We are learning how to ignore zeroes.

 I found it easy  because I had all ready to record.

Next time I would like to have a harder test.

Cross country

I was ready to start  the year 5 race I ran to mrs Hiku I saw mrs Mundy I ran and got to mrs Mundy an saw the hill I took a breathe and ran up the hill when I heard the kindy cheering.For me I ran as fast as  lighting I run onto the field an saw the others running they ran through the back paddock I saw brian run out.Of the paddock I started to run to the goal post an run through the goalpost an through .Tires over the sign and through the white and red tape.

We are learning how to write about cross coutnry.         

I found it easy because we already had done a story next to us.

Next time I would like to write more sentence.
